Data Deletion Policy
Version 1.0 · effective 23 September 2026
This is an English translation provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.
This document explains how you can delete your data from the Signal to Insight platform, what is deleted and when. It is our user data deletion instructions as required by the providers the Platform integrates with (including TikTok, Meta, Google, LinkedIn and Microsoft).
1. Deleting a User account
- Sign in to the Platform and open My settings.
- In the account deletion section choose Delete account and confirm.
- The account is scheduled for deletion in 30 days. During that time you can cancel the deletion in the same place.
- After 30 days the account, sign-in data, passkeys, API tokens and stored integration connections are permanently deleted.
If you are the only owner of an organisation, transfer ownership to someone else or delete the organisation (section 2) before deleting your account.
Content you created in a Customer’s Workspace (e.g. documents, notes, CRM entries) belongs to that Customer and stays in its Workspace after your account is deleted. You can ask the Workspace administrator to delete it, or — if that is not possible — ask us (section 5).
2. Deleting a Workspace or an entire organisation
- An owner opens the organisation settings and, in the Danger zone, chooses to delete the organisation or deletes a specific Workspace from the list.
- Deletion is scheduled for 30 days later; any owner can cancel it during that time.
- When the period ends an automated process permanently deletes the Workspace and all its data in every Platform service — module data, files, documents, automation configuration, secrets and integration connections.
Before deleting we recommend making a copy: Settings → Data copy creates an encrypted package of the Workspace’s data to download.
3. Integration data (TikTok, Meta, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft and others)
To end the Platform’s access to an external account and delete the related data:
- In the Platform open the integration settings and choose Disconnect for the account. We then delete the stored access tokens and stop retrieving data. For Google we also revoke the granted permissions on Google’s side.
- You can also revoke access directly with the provider: TikTok — Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services; Meta — Settings → Apps and websites; Google — Google Account permissions; LinkedIn — Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services; Microsoft — Microsoft account apps and services.
- Data already synchronised into the Workspace (e.g. published posts, statistics, messages) is deleted in the module where it lives, or together with the Workspace or account.
If you revoked access with the provider and want us to delete the data already retrieved from that account too, write to iod@signaltoinsight.com — we will delete it within the period in section 5.
4. What is deleted and when
| Data | Permanently deleted |
|---|---|
| User account | 30 days after the deletion request (unless you cancel) |
| Workspace / organisation and all its data | 30 days after the deletion request (unless an owner cancels) |
| Integration tokens | immediately upon disconnecting the integration |
| Files and documents moved to the trash | 30 days after being moved to the trash |
| Technical logs | automatically after 30 days (requests) or 90 days (security events) |
| Invoices and billing documents | 5 years after the end of the tax year — retention required by law |
Infrastructure backups may contain deleted data until they rotate. Backups are used only for disaster recovery and never to restore individual deleted items; if a restore from backup takes place, previously deleted data is deleted again.
5. Requesting deletion without access to an account
If you cannot sign in, have no account but your data may be in the Platform (e.g. you connected a TikTok or Meta account through a Customer’s app), or want your data deleted another way, write to our Data Protection Officer: iod@signaltoinsight.com (or support@signaltoinsight.com). Include the e-mail address or account identifier concerned and the name of the integration.
We will acknowledge the request, may ask you to confirm your identity (e.g. by writing from the address linked to the account), and will complete it within 30 days, telling you the outcome. If your data is in the Workspace of a Customer who is its controller, we will forward the request to that Customer and tell you so.
6. When we cannot delete data immediately
We may retain data where the law requires it (e.g. accounting records), where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to investigate a security breach or abuse — only for as long as necessary and with restricted access. We will tell you which data we retain and why.
