What it does

Everything a cashier needs at the counter

One screen, six tabs, no browser. The till does what selling in a shop requires — and says in one sentence when something cannot be done.

Sell from the catalogue or a scan

Category tiles, search by name and by code, a barcode scanner, and a manual line whose VAT letter comes from the rate dictionary.

A fiscal receipt from the printer

Novitus POINT on the local network. No receipt, no sale: the printout precedes the record, and a failed print goes to the repair queue.

Cash with change, and cards

Change counted in whole cents and printed on the receipt. The card is authorised before paper moves, so a declined payment never produces one.

Returns at the counter

The receipts this till issued, the lines and quantities coming back, and a return protocol to sign. One return per receipt, visible as a correction in sales.

Shifts and the cash drawer

Open a shift from the list of people, record the opening float, pay in and pay out with a slip, run the daily report and the zeroing shift report.

Selling with no internet

Transactions queue on the device and leave on their own when the link returns. The key is minted before printing, so nothing is ever recorded twice.

One system, many channels

A sales channel, not a separate program

To the platform the counter is a channel like the online shop or a marketplace — the same goods and the same sales underneath. So stiPOS has no stock list of its own to maintain: a paired tablet reads your shop catalogue and hands the sale back where you run the rest of the business.

Products, prices, VAT rates and barcodes come from the Products module — the till shows the counter channel, not a second list of goods.

Every channel in one sales record

A receipt from the counter and an order from the online shop land in the same sales record, with the same reports for the accountant. You read the day once, not in two systems.

Shop, Products and Till are modules of the Signal to Insight platform. You switch them on in your workspace and pay for what you use — the next sales channel is added without changing systems.
